LEARN HOW TO MASTER THE LASH LIFT TECHNIQUE WITH THE GENIE TOOL!

It is so important to lift the lashes in a straight position; it is a crucial part of the lash lift treatment. Whatever position you place the lashes in will reflect how they look at the end of the treatment. The treatment process breaks down the natural bond of the lashes and sets the new bond into its new fixed position. Here’s our top lash application tips:

PRO-TECHNIQUE TIPS

1. Avoid criss-crossing the lashes
2. Make sure none are underneath the silicon pad
3. Always check for stray bottom lashes

1) STRAIGHTEN CRISS-CROSSED LASHES

Criss-cross lashes are tricky to apply to the silicon pads because they tend to curl in opposite directions and tangle up. If the lashes were attached in this way, the lifted results would be very messy. We are trying to achieve a clean, uniform look to the lashes which gives the lash line lots of definition

...HOW THE GENIE CAN HELP YOU

The Genie is a unique tool designed by Kalentin to assist our lash techs in achieving their perfect results! It literally takes the work out of applying the lashes to the silicon pads. The intricate grooves on the Genie guide the lashes onto the silicon pad with precision. Criss-crossed lashes are gripped in place with the Genie tool allowing them to attach in a straightened position with ease.

2) CHECK YOUR WORK

Lashes can become stuck underneath the silicon pads or the eyepatches. It is essential to check to see if this has happened before you move onto the next stage of the treatment. If the lashes are left underneath the silicon pads they will not be lifted and this can be very noticeable and spoil the treatment results. To rescue the upper lashes that are stuck simply hold the silicon pad and gently lift up and if you can see any stray lashes then the precise tip of The Genie can free them ready to be attached

3 BOTTOM LASHES

Similarly, stray bottom lashes can become attached to the silicon pads. This would really look odd if the bottom lashes were lifted and would be very irritating for your client. Again, to avoid this just hold the silicon pad and lift upwards. If you spot any stray bottom lashes then use the genie tool to gently unattach the stray lashes.
